Our Martini Bar's Name Sake "Edja" Edward F. Yost 3/8/58 - 4/5/01

Edja, a popular bartender at the Casino Cafe passed away on April 5, 2001. Complications from a heart operation took him from us much too soon.

One of his favorite songs, "My Way" - which he could sing quite well - did describe the Mardi Gras Man who was special to all. His way was the only way - not selfish, not egotistical, not self-centered, but just his way.

Everyday was Mardi Gras to Edja, and that was the way he lived his life. Edja gave unselfishly of himself to everyone he knew for a long time or whom he had met casually. His presence around Davis Park, the Casino Cafe, and the Caz will be sorely missed. So.. until we meet again... Edja, we love you!
